Participation, media and resistance
My name is Kirill Filimonov, I am a researcher, educator and media producer currently based at Uppsala University, Sweden.
For over three years now, I’ve been working on a doctoral project on politics of participation in Russian alternative media communities. I’m looking into the process, identities and spaces of participation – as well as its uneasy relationship with the Russian state and its media.
